Removing and installing fuel pressure sender for low pressure G410 — AUDI
Removing and installing fuel pressure sender for low pressure G410 on Audi: 11 steps, engines CEJA, CEUA, CEUC, CEUD.
The low-pressure fuel sender G410 sits in the fuel rail on the Audi A6/A7 C7 (4G) and 4X platforms, covering petrol engines such as CEUA, CGTA, CJEB and CJSA. It is a short job done from the top of the engine with only the engine cover removed. The connector comes off, the retaining clip is pulled out, and the sender is withdrawn from the rail. The sender is screwed into an adapter, so it is separated on the bench, a new O-ring fitted and the adapter screwed back on. The only real points are pushing the sender into the rail as far as it will go without pinching the O-ring, and seeing that the clip fully enters its groove.
🧭 Before you start
Remove the engine cover, unplug the connector, pull out the retaining clip and draw G410 out of the fuel rail. Unscrew it from its adapter, fit a new O-ring and screw the adapter back on. Slide the sender fully into the rail, refit the clip in its groove, plug in the connector and refit the engine cover.
Fits: Audi A6/A7 C7 (4G, 2011–2018); platform code 4X
Don't miss
- Fit a new O-ring every time the sender is removed.
- Slide the sender into the rail carefully and fully home so the O-ring is not cut.
- The retaining clip must sit properly in its groove.
- Wrap a cloth around the opening; residual fuel pressure in the rail is general practice to expect.

Who makes these pages, and how
TorqFix was built by a mechanic — after a 2,700 km drive with five roadside repairs that no diagnostic tool could explain.
The figures on this page come from manufacturer workshop documentation and are shown as they are. The page is assembled automatically from that data — it is not written by an AI. The AI works in the chat, where it answers for your specific car. It writes nothing here.
Variants of the same model differ. Cross-check torque against the factory manual for your engine before final tightening.
