Note
The battery voltage and the diesel fuel temperature have a great influence on the current draw of the fuel pump. Therefore, ensure that battery voltage is at least 12.5 V during the check.
The vehicle must be fuelled with the diesel fuel appropriate for the time of the year. The fuel sold in summer is filterable up to 0° C; that sold in transition time (spring and autumn) is filterable up to -10° C and that sold in winter is filterable up to -20° C. Summer fuel may coagulate (flock) in very low winter temperatures. If you are unsure, try and expose it to the low outside temperature for approximately 1 hour. If the fuel coagulates at temperatures down to -20°C, it is unsuitable for low temperatures. This coagulation can block the strainer in the fuel delivery unit as well as the fuel filter.
Test prerequisites
Connect battery charger to ensure sufficient voltage supply of min. 12.5 V.
Diesel fuel temperature above 10 °C

Who makes these pages, and how

TorqFix was built by a mechanic — after a 2,700 km drive with five roadside repairs that no diagnostic tool could explain.

The figures on this page come from manufacturer workshop documentation and are shown as they are. The page is assembled automatically from that data — it is not written by an AI. The AI works in the chat, where it answers for your specific car. It writes nothing here.

Variants of the same model differ. Cross-check torque against the factory manual for your engine before final tightening.

Seen a figure that does not match your manual? Write to us — we correct it and note when. support@torqfix.com
