- To unfasten fuel lines, press the safety key.
- Check the pressure drop on the Pressure gaugeVAG 1318. After 10 minutes, the pressure must not drop below 2.5 bar.
📋 Procedure
- ⚠ Fuel supply hoses are under pressure. Wrap hose connection with cloth prior to loosening. Next, eliminate pressure by disassembling hose carefully. — Remove the supply hose (1) from the fuel filter inlet and connect it to Adapting setVAG 1318/17.
- Attach the Adapting setVAG 1318/17 with connector (1) to the Pressure gaugeVAG 1318.
- Connect the Pressure gaugeVAG 1318 to the AdapterVAG 1318/11 and Adapter setVAG 1318/1.
- The end of the Adapting setVAG 1318/1 should be installed in a 3.0-liter (minimum) graduated container.

Who makes these pages, and how
TorqFix was built by a mechanic — after a 2,700 km drive with five roadside repairs that no diagnostic tool could explain.
The figures on this page come from manufacturer workshop documentation and are shown as they are. The page is assembled automatically from that data — it is not written by an AI. The AI works in the chat, where it answers for your specific car. It writes nothing here.
Variants of the same model differ. Cross-check torque against the factory manual for your engine before final tightening.
Seen a figure that does not match your manual? Write to us — we correct it and note when. support@torqfix.com
