📋 Procedure

1. Remove toothed belt .
2. Remove sump .
3. Remove alternator Electrical system27Alternator; Removing and installing alternator.
4. Remove crankshaft oil seal (pulley end) .
5. Remove bolts (1, 2) and detach oil pump horizontally from dowel pins in cylinder block.

6. Detach gasket. [Note: Renew bolts tightened with specified tightening angle.]
7. Check whether dowel pins (arrows) for centring oil pump and cylinder block are fitted; insert dowel pins if necessary.
8. Fit new gasket (1).
9. Turn oil pump gear so that two opposite recesses are vertically aligned (arrows).
10. Fit oil pump and tighten bolts .
11. Install new crankshaft oil seal (pulley end) .
12. Install sump .
13. Install toothed belt .
