Fits: Audi Q7 (4M, 2015–)
Don't miss
- Bonded rubber bushes can only be turned to a limited extent. The suspension mountings must therefore only be tightened when the suspension is in the unladen position or normal level.
📋 Procedure
- Vehicles with coil springs: ascertain unladen position .
- Vehicles with air suspension: ascertain normal level .
- Remove rear wheel .
- Remove spring .
- Bleed system .
- Release fasteners (arrows) and detach retaining pins (1) slightly.
- Detach wind deflector (2) downwards from transverse link at rear.
- Release fasteners again and detach retaining pins and wind deflector.
- Unclip protective cap (2), release fasteners (arrows) and move air spring (3) clear at transverse link (1).
- Turn wheel hub until one of the wheel bolt holes is at the top.
- ⚠ Risk of irreparable damage to wheel bearing when screwing in wheel bolt. The wheel bolt must be fitted with a washer to prevent it from pressing against the wheel bearing when it is installed. — Attach support T10149 to wheel hub using wheel bolt (2) (with a washer (1) fitted in between).
- Use engine and gearbox jackVAS 6931 attached to support T10149 to raise wheel bearing housing slightly so that bolts can be removed more easily.
- ⚠ Risk of accident!Do not raise or lower vehicle when engine and gearbox jack is under vehicle.Do not leave engine and gearbox jack under vehicle for longer than necessary. — Remove bolts (1, 2, 3) and detach lower transverse link (4).
- Screw in bolts initially until they make contact, but do not tighten to final torque yet. [Note: Bonded rubber bushes can only be turned to a limited extent. The suspension mountings must therefore only be tightened when the suspension is in the unladen position or normal level.]

Who makes these pages, and how
TorqFix was built by a mechanic — after a 2,700 km drive with five roadside repairs that no diagnostic tool could explain.
The figures on this page come from manufacturer workshop documentation and are shown as they are. The page is assembled automatically from that data — it is not written by an AI. The AI works in the chat, where it answers for your specific car. It writes nothing here.
Variants of the same model differ. Cross-check torque against the factory manual for your engine before final tightening.
