Don't miss
- Make sure that you are familiar with the relevant safety instructions for the use of pressurised containers and industrial gases.
- To stop "“unfiltered”" air entering the air spring system, the suspension strut (air suspension) may only be »recharged« with the gases listed above.
- Make sure pressure does not exceed 4.5 bar while charging.
📋 Procedure

- Set restrictor valve to 2.0 ltr./min (arrow).
- Now charge the suspension strut (air suspension) with gas, using several separate bursts of pressure.
- Make sure pressure does not exceed 4.5 bar while charging.
- Disconnect air suspension strut charger unitVAS 6231 from adapter T10157/1; gas pressure in excess of 3.5 bar will then be released.

Who makes these pages, and how
TorqFix was built by a mechanic — after a 2,700 km drive with five roadside repairs that no diagnostic tool could explain.
The figures on this page come from manufacturer workshop documentation and are shown as they are. The page is assembled automatically from that data — it is not written by an AI. The AI works in the chat, where it answers for your specific car. It writes nothing here.
Variants of the same model differ. Cross-check torque against the factory manual for your engine before final tightening.
Seen a figure that does not match your manual? Write to us — we correct it and note when. support@torqfix.com
