  1. Lift retaining clip (arrow) and disconnect coolant hose (top right) from water radiator for charge air cooling circuit.
  2. Lift retaining clip (arrow) and disconnect coolant hose (top left) from radiator.
  3. Pinch fasteners (both sides) (arrows) off radiator mounting with side-cutting pliers. Push radiator for engine coolant with water radiator for charge air cooling circuit (top) slightly towards rear. [Note: When installing the radiator, the radiator mounting is re-used; it must be bolted onto the lock carrier. Bolts Electronic parts catalogue.]
  4. Release sealing lip (1) (both sides) at bottom of charge air cooler/water radiator for charge air cooling circuit (item 2)(arrow A) and disengage at top (arrow B).
  5. Remove bolts (arrows) and secure auxiliary radiator for high-voltage cooling system to lock carrier.
  6. Have a second mechanic release retaining clips (1) in direction of (arrow A); lift condenser (3) upwards out of mountings on charge air cooler/water radiator for charge air cooling circuit (item 2)(arrows B) and secure to lock carrier.
  7. Detach radiator with water radiator for charge air cooling circuit.
  8. Press locking tabs on left and right sides of radiator simultaneously (arrow), and detach radiator from water radiator for charge air cooling circuit. [Note: If there are slight impressions on the fins, refer to .Renew O-rings.Bolt radiator mountings to lock carrier (arrows) if fasteners have been pinched off. For bolts, refer to Electronic parts catalogue.Tightening torque: 5 Nm]
  9. Attach refrigerant lines to condenser Heating, air conditioning87Refrigerant circuit; Detaching and attaching refrigerant lines at condenser.
  10. Install bumper cover (front) General body repairs, exterior63Bumper (front); Removing and installing bumper cover.
  11. Install radiator cowl .
  12. Connect coolant hose with plug-in connector . [Note: Do not reuse coolant.]
  13. ⚠ Danger of short circuit in the high-voltage battery if coolant leaks into the battery. The high-voltage battery cannot detect coolant leaking into the battery. If the coolant level in the expansion tank drops due to a leak and the warning lamp lights up, do NOT add any coolant until the cause of the leak has been found and eliminated. The sealing tag on the filler cap of the coolant expansion tank prevents the customer from adding coolant to the high-voltage cooling circuit independently. The notice on the filler cap provides an additional warning of the danger involved. — Fill up high-voltage cooling circuit with coolant .
  14. Attach sealing tag to filler cap on coolant expansion tank .
  15. Fill up with coolant .

Who makes these pages, and how

TorqFix was built by a mechanic — after a 2,700 km drive with five roadside repairs that no diagnostic tool could explain.

The figures on this page come from manufacturer workshop documentation and are shown as they are. The page is assembled automatically from that data — it is not written by an AI. The AI works in the chat, where it answers for your specific car. It writes nothing here.

Variants of the same model differ. Cross-check torque against the factory manual for your engine before final tightening.

Seen a figure that does not match your manual? Write to us — we correct it and note when. support@torqfix.com
