Removing and installing mirror adjustment switch: Audi A6 C6

Fits: Audi A6 C6 (4F, 2004–2011)

Don't miss

• When installing, make sure symbol trim is inserted before the mirror adjustment switch.

📋 Procedure

1. Switch off ignition and take out ignition key.
2. Remove door trim (front) 70.
3. Release retaining spring (1) and press electrical connector (2) out of retainer (arrow).
4. Unplug electrical connector for mirror adjustment switch.
5. Unscrew bolts (3), (4) and (6 ... 12).

6. Detach armrest and unplug electrical connector (5) for window switch.
7. Unscrew bolts (arrows).
8. Detach cover for switch mounting (1) from armrest.
9. Unplug electrical connector (1) at mirror adjustment switch (2).
10. Use small screwdriver to carefully release retaining hooks (arrows).
11. Pull mirror adjustment switch downwards out of switch mounting. [Note: When installing, make sure symbol trim is inserted before the mirror adjustment switch.]
12. Press switch into switch mounting until retaining hooks engage.
13. Install door trim (front) 70.
