🧭 Before you start

Fits: Audi Q7 (4M, 2015–)

  • Opens: refrigerant (A/C)
  • Also covered elsewhere: Electronic parts catalogue

Don't miss

  • Danger from the escape of pressurised refrigerant.Frostbite on skin and other parts of the body.Only unfasten the screws on the joints after discharging the refrigerant circuit. — Switch off ignition.
  • Seal off open connections in the lines at the connection point using clean plugs, e.g. from engine bung setVAS 6122.
  • Observe fitting instructions for O-rings .Pay attention to correct positioning of the O-rings in the grooves of the connections.
  • After attaching, check routing of refrigerant lines. They must be inserted tension-free in the brackets provided and should not make contact with other components.

🔩 Torque settings

Values can differ between engine variants — check the code stamped on your block.

Who makes these pages, and how

TorqFix was built by a mechanic — after a 2,700 km drive with five roadside repairs that no diagnostic tool could explain.

The figures on this page come from manufacturer workshop documentation and are shown as they are. The page is assembled automatically from that data — it is not written by an AI. The AI works in the chat, where it answers for your specific car. It writes nothing here.

Variants of the same model differ. Cross-check torque against the factory manual for your engine before final tightening.
