📋 Procedure

ℹ️ Torque figures below come verbatim from workshop data — always cross-check against your vehicle's factory manual before final tightening.

Removing and installing
pressure differential sender
G505
or
pressure differential sender 2
G524
The
pressure differential sender
G505
is connected to a measuring point in front of particulate filter on right (bank 1) by means of a pipe.
The second measuring cable is approx. 7 cm long and is exposed to atmospheric pressure (relative pressure sensor concept).
The
pressure differential sender
G505
determines the charge status of particulate filter on right.
Pressure differential sender 2
G524
is connected to a measuring point in front of particulate filter on left (bank 2) by means of a pipe.
The second measuring cable is approx. 7 cm long and is exposed to atmospheric pressure (relative pressure sensor concept).
Pressure differential sender 2
G524
determines the charge status of particulate filter on left.

Note
Blow compressed air through hoses in direction of particulate filter in order to remove clogging or ice resulting from condensation.
Make sure that hoses are securely fitted and seal properly.
If pressure line has become loose at particulate filter, tighten pressure line to 45 Nm.
Secure all hose connections with the hose clips corresponding to original equipment

Who makes these pages, and how

TorqFix was built by a mechanic — after a 2,700 km drive with five roadside repairs that no diagnostic tool could explain.

The figures on this page come from manufacturer workshop documentation and are shown as they are. The page is assembled automatically from that data — it is not written by an AI. The AI works in the chat, where it answers for your specific car. It writes nothing here.

Variants of the same model differ. Cross-check torque against the factory manual for your engine before final tightening.

Seen a figure that does not match your manual? Write to us — we correct it and note when. support@torqfix.com
