Symptoms on the vehicle when the metal bush has moved
a) When braking, the vehicle moves towards the side on which the bush has moved.
b) When driving on uneven roads the steering wheel can not easily be controlled.
c) If the vehicle is lifted up on a platform and one of the front wheels moves upwards and downwards the wishbone play is to big.
This work can also be performed with the tool VW 771.

1.- Remove front wheel, swivel joint, wishbones, front torsion rods on both vehicle sides from upper or lower tube, depending on the side on which the bush is moved.

Who makes these pages, and how
TorqFix was built by a mechanic — after a 2,700 km drive with five roadside repairs that no diagnostic tool could explain.
The figures on this page come from manufacturer workshop documentation and are shown as they are. The page is assembled automatically from that data — it is not written by an AI. The AI works in the chat, where it answers for your specific car. It writes nothing here.
Variants of the same model differ. Cross-check torque against the factory manual for your engine before final tightening.
