Note
The part number for the RNS can be found on a sticker on the RNS housing.
If the RNS is replaced, it is very important that the anti-theft coding be deactivated
Chapter
. The new code number should be given to the customer.
If the anti-theft code is not known it can be requested via the established systems. The identification number of the RNS is required for the request. This is located on a sticker on the side of the RNS. The identification number is also stamped into the material on the side of the RNS.
If an RNS from one vehicle is fitted into another vehicle, it is essential that the part number of the replacement unit be the same as that of the RNS previously installed. Otherwise navigation faults will occur because the turn angle sensor setting in the RNS will not be compatible with the vehicle.

Who makes these pages, and how
TorqFix was built by a mechanic — after a 2,700 km drive with five roadside repairs that no diagnostic tool could explain.
The figures on this page come from manufacturer workshop documentation and are shown as they are. The page is assembled automatically from that data — it is not written by an AI. The AI works in the chat, where it answers for your specific car. It writes nothing here.
Variants of the same model differ. Cross-check torque against the factory manual for your engine before final tightening.
Seen a figure that does not match your manual? Write to us — we correct it and note when. support@torqfix.com
