  • For rocker arms and support elements we have 2 suppliers "“INA”" and "“GTT”", which can not be installed on the same cylinder head .
  • Make sure that all the roller rockers are properly supported on the valves rods ends (1) and fastened on respective support elements (2).
  • The placement and fixation of the cylinder head cover must be done without interruption, since the sealing surfaces begin to dry when they get in contact. The cylinder head cover screws must be replaced.
  • Once the cylinder head cover is installed, the Sealing compound for enginesAMV188 001 02 or Sealing compound for enginesD 154 103 A1 must dry during approximately 30 minutes.

📋 Procedure

  1. Eliminate residues of Sealing compound for enginesAMV 188 001 02 or Sealing compound for enginesD 154 103 A1 from the head and the head cover, by using a liquid solvent.
  2. Lubricate the sliding surfaces of the camshaft. [Note: For rocker arms and support elements we have 2 suppliers "“INA”" and "“GTT”", which can not be installed on the same cylinder head .]
  3. House the support elements on the cylinder head and rest their roller rockers on the valve rod ends or on the support elements.

Who makes these pages, and how

TorqFix was built by a mechanic — after a 2,700 km drive with five roadside repairs that no diagnostic tool could explain.

The figures on this page come from manufacturer workshop documentation and are shown as they are. The page is assembled automatically from that data — it is not written by an AI. The AI works in the chat, where it answers for your specific car. It writes nothing here.

Variants of the same model differ. Cross-check torque against the factory manual for your engine before final tightening.
