📋 Procedure

1. Remove drive unit for pop-up roof .
2. Remove oil filler plug from oil reservoir (a) of hydraulic unit.
3. Drain oil reservoir.
4. Remove bolts (2) to secure hydraulic lines using a T25 Torx socket (1).
5. Release hydraulic lines using a twisting motion (arrow A) and carefully remove from housing (arrow B). [Note: Collect any leaking hydraulic oil using a cloth.]

6. Remove fitted seals from holes using a blunt hook.
7. Check all holes/bores for cleanliness before installing new convertible roof actuation hydraulic pump V118.
8. Refer to marks on line (1) and pump housing in order to allocate hydraulic lines correctly during installation.
9. Tighten hydraulic lines using bolts (2).
10. Fill reservoir (b) with hydraulic oil using a suitable syringe (a). [Note: The hydraulic fluid level must be between the MIN and MAX marks (c).The capacity of the complete system is 400 cm3.The amount of fluid required to achieve the fluid level between the MIN and MAX marks is 40 cm3.Check oil level after bleeding and replenish with hydraulic oil as necessary.Hydraulic fluid Electronic Parts Catalogue.]
11. Install drive unit.
12. Open and close roof repeatedly to bleed the hydraulic system completely.
13. To bleed system, screw oil filler plug (a) two full turns into reservoir.
14. Constantly check oil when opening and closing roof and replenish with hydraulic oil as necessary.
15. After the system has been bled, check it for leaks.
16. Tighten bolt (a).
