  2. Unscrew nuts (arrows) at front exhaust pipe.
  3. Unscrew mounting or
  4. Unfasten right clamp (right arrow).
  5. Detach right front exhaust pipe with catalytic converter and lambda probe. [Note: To avoid damage, decoupling element in front exhaust pipe is not to be kinked by more than 10°.Make sure there is clearance at the connector for the lambda probe.] [Note: Replace gaskets and self-locking nuts.]
  6. Perform stress-free alignment of exhaust system (see the separate procedure). [Note: Re-attach all cable ties in the same locations on installation. On installation, the lambda probe wire is always to be re-attached at the same locations to stop the probe wire coming into contact with the exhaust pipe. Replace gaskets and self-locking nuts.]

Who makes these pages, and how

TorqFix was built by a mechanic — after a 2,700 km drive with five roadside repairs that no diagnostic tool could explain.

The figures on this page come from manufacturer workshop documentation and are shown as they are. The page is assembled automatically from that data — it is not written by an AI. The AI works in the chat, where it answers for your specific car. It writes nothing here.

Variants of the same model differ. Cross-check torque against the factory manual for your engine before final tightening.

Seen a figure that does not match your manual? Write to us — we correct it and note when. support@torqfix.com
