Removing and installing mounting bracket with clutch master cylinder - vehicles up to model year 2014 on Audi: 18 steps.
Workshop procedure for AUDI — the exact step sequence and torque figures, straight from real workshop data.
🧭 Before you start
Fits: Audi A1 (8X, 2010–2018)
- Opens: brake fluid, clutch fluid
- Special tools named: 3094
- Renewed: self-locking nuts

- In the following steps make sure that no brake fluid escapes onto the longitudinal member or onto the gearbox below. If this does happen, clean the affected area thoroughly.Place a cloth underneath to catch escaping brake fluid.
- Clamping off the supply hose with the hose clamp3094 will cause a permanent deformation. However, this does not damage the supply hose. After removing the hose clamp 3094, the supply hose must be returned to its original shape.
- (Item 1) can be disregarded.
- When working in the footwell, put cloths on the floor covering to protect it from possible brake fluid spills.
- Glue new gasket onto clutch master cylinder and mounting bracket.Renew self-locking nuts. After detaching hose clip, move supply hose to original position if necessary.

Who makes these pages, and how
TorqFix was built by a mechanic — after a 2,700 km drive with five roadside repairs that no diagnostic tool could explain.
The figures on this page come from manufacturer workshop documentation and are shown as they are. The page is assembled automatically from that data — it is not written by an AI. The AI works in the chat, where it answers for your specific car. It writes nothing here.
Variants of the same model differ. Cross-check torque against the factory manual for your engine before final tightening.
Seen a figure that does not match your manual? Write to us — we correct it and note when. support@torqfix.com
