Installing air hoses and hose clips
To ensure that the crash sensors have sufficient clearance, it is important to observe the correct installation position for the hose clips at the air pipes.
Fitting air hose (left-side) between air cleaner housing and turbocharger (1)

“L” item 7 must be legible from the front
Do not use any lubricant when installing (4)

Fit worm drive of hose clip on dotted line (6) on air hose. When tightened, worm drive of hose clip is drawn to continuous line (8)
Spray rust remover onto worm thread of used hose clips before installing
Before tightening, slide hose clip as far as stop towards end of hose
Tighten to 5.5 Nm; wait 5 minutes to allow parts to sttle and then tighten again to 5.5 Nm (5)

Fit worm dribve of hose clip on dotted line on air hose. When tightened, worm drive of hose clip is drawn to continuous line
Spray rust remover onto worm thread of used hose clips before installing
Before tightening, slide hose clip as far as stop towards end of hose
Tighten to 3.5 ... 4 Nm; wait 5 minutes to allow parts to settle and then tighten again to 3.5 ... 4 Nm
