🧭 Before you start
Fits: VW Caddy III (2K, 2004–2015); platform code 2C0
- Renewed: fuel delivery unit
Don't miss
- Observe pressure drop on pressure gauge. After 10 minutes, pressure must not drop below 3 bar.
📋 Procedure
- Open cover of relay and fuse holder of engine compartment electronics box.
- Pull fuse SB33 out of socket F33 of fuse holder.
- Connect remote controlV.A.G 1348/3 A with adapter cableV.A.G 1348/3-3 to right terminal of fuse socket F33.

Then release pressure by carefully pulling hose off connection. — Pull fuel supply line (arrow) off fuel filter.
- Connect pressure testerVAS 6550 to fuel supply line with adapterVAS 6550/1. Hold adapterVAS 6550/2 in a measuring container.
- Close shut-off tap (A) of pressure gaugeVAS 6550 (lever at right angles to direction of flow).
- Operate remote control at short intervals until a pressure of approx. 4 bar has built up.
- ⚠ Danger of spray when shut-off tap is opened; wear eye protection and protective clothing to avoid injuries and skin contact. Hold container in front of open connection of pressure tester. — Reduce excessive pressure by carefully opening shut-off tap.

Who makes these pages, and how
TorqFix was built by a mechanic — after a 2,700 km drive with five roadside repairs that no diagnostic tool could explain.
The figures on this page come from manufacturer workshop documentation and are shown as they are. The page is assembled automatically from that data — it is not written by an AI. The AI works in the chat, where it answers for your specific car. It writes nothing here.
Variants of the same model differ. Cross-check torque against the factory manual for your engine before final tightening.
Seen a figure that does not match your manual? Write to us — we correct it and note when. support@torqfix.com
