🧭 Before you start
Fits: Audi A3 (8L, 1996–2003)
📋 Procedure
- Turn steering to left onto full lock.
- Remove noise insulation (left-side) 50.
- Remove gear oil inspection plug (arrow).
- Screw in plug (arrow).
- Remove plug (arrow).
- Fill up gear oil to bottom lip of filler hole.
- Screw in plug (arrow).
- Start engine, engage a gear and allow gearbox to turn for approx. 2 minutes.
- Switch off engine and remove plug (arrow).
- Top up gear oil again to bottom lip of filler hole.
- Screw in plug (arrow).
- Install noise insulation (left-side) 50.
