89 steps 1 torque figure

🧭 Before you start

Fits: VW Passat B8 (3G, 2014–)

  • Opens: brake fluid
  • Special tools named: T40093/3, T10346/1

Don't miss

  • Then, mark adapter T40093/3-6 with T40093/3-6A.
  • Brackets T10346 and T10346/1 must be screwed together as shown in illustration.
  • The gate relay lever must be removed before detaching the cable end-piece .
  • Clamping off the supply hose with the hose clamp3094 will cause a permanent deformation. However, this does not damage the supply hose. After removing the hose clamp3094, the supply hose must be returned to its original shape.
  • Risk of soiling due to escaping brake fluid.Do not operate clutch pedal after detaching pipe/hose assembly from bleeder connection on clutch slave cylinder. — Disconnect electrical connections on gearbox (front left).

🔩 Torque settings

Values can differ between engine variants — check the code stamped on your block.

Who makes these pages, and how

TorqFix was built by a mechanic — after a 2,700 km drive with five roadside repairs that no diagnostic tool could explain.

The figures on this page come from manufacturer workshop documentation and are shown as they are. The page is assembled automatically from that data — it is not written by an AI. The AI works in the chat, where it answers for your specific car. It writes nothing here.

Variants of the same model differ. Cross-check torque against the factory manual for your engine before final tightening.

Seen a figure that does not match your manual? Write to us — we correct it and note when. support@torqfix.com
