📋 Procedure
- ⚠ When a mechanical fault is found on the turbocharger, e.g. a destroyed compressor impeller, it is not only sufficient to renew the turbocharger. To prevent this from causing further damage, perform the following repairs:Clean all oil lines.Change engine oil and oil filter.Check air filter housing, air filter element and intake hoses for soiling.Check complete charged air routing and charge air cooler for foreign objects. If foreign objects are found in the charge air system, the charged air routing must be cleaned and the charge air cooler must be renewed, if necessary. — Pull electrical connector off exhaust gas pressure sensor 1G450 in engine compartment and unscrew securing bolts.
- Unplug connector for exhaust gas temperature sender 1 for bank 1G235.
- Separate electrical connectors to particulate filter.

Who makes these pages, and how
TorqFix was built by a mechanic — after a 2,700 km drive with five roadside repairs that no diagnostic tool could explain.
The figures on this page come from manufacturer workshop documentation and are shown as they are. The page is assembled automatically from that data — it is not written by an AI. The AI works in the chat, where it answers for your specific car. It writes nothing here.
Variants of the same model differ. Cross-check torque against the factory manual for your engine before final tightening.
Seen a figure that does not match your manual? Write to us — we correct it and note when. support@torqfix.com
