📋 Procedure
- ⚠ The reducing agent can irritate skin, eyes and respiratory organs. After skin contact with this agent, wash immediately with plenty of water. If necessary seek advice from a doctor. — Remove left underbody panel.
- Remove heat shield above rear axle.
- Open delivery line clips, moving upper part in (direction of arrow) as you do so.
- ⚠ Protect separated electrical connections against wetting from reducing agent by suitable means, e.g. plastic bag and cable ties. Electrical connections may be damaged due to the high penetration ability along with subsequent crystallisation of the reducing agent. — Unclip connections from retainer above rear axle and unplug electrical connector (B) of delivery line.
- First press securing clip for line connection together in direction of (arrow 1) as shown, and pull off delivery line in direction of (arrow 2) without tools and without »jerking«.

The smallest particle of dirt can cause extensive damage to the system. — First press securing clip for line connection on injector for reducing agent N474 together in direction of (arrow 1) as shown, and pull off delivery line in direction of (arrow 2) without tools and without »jerking«.
- Carefully expose delivery line, pull out of remaining clips and remove.
- ⚠ The delivery line is pre-formed and is equipped with a heater element over the complete length. Ensure the line is not kinked, twisted or stretched. Otherwise, the heater element and thereby the supply line will be damaged. — Guide delivery line carefully behind brake lines and wiring harness for electromechanical parking brake (arrows) above rear axle.
- Remove plug and connect delivery line to injector for reducing agent N474.
- Press delivery line into its clips from front to rear.
- Close securing clips.
- Remove plug.
- Connect wire (B) and delivery line (A) above rear axle. Secure both in bracket mounted on body.
- Re-install heat shield above rear axle.
- Re-install underbody panel on driver side.

Who makes these pages, and how
TorqFix was built by a mechanic — after a 2,700 km drive with five roadside repairs that no diagnostic tool could explain.
The figures on this page come from manufacturer workshop documentation and are shown as they are. The page is assembled automatically from that data — it is not written by an AI. The AI works in the chat, where it answers for your specific car. It writes nothing here.
Variants of the same model differ. Cross-check torque against the factory manual for your engine before final tightening.
Seen a figure that does not match your manual? Write to us — we correct it and note when. support@torqfix.com
