Notes:

Ensure meticulous cleanliness is maintained when performing assembly work on charge air system of G-charger!
All hose connections are secured with clips.
Charge air system must be free of leaks.
If the G-charger has mechanical damage, it is possible that metal particles could get into the charge air system. To prevent subsequent damage, the following work must be carried out in addition to replacing the G-charger:

Clean air filter housing and replace air cleaner element.
Replace charge air cooler and silencer.
Clean air connecting hoses. If it is not possible to clean, replace parts.
Replace gaskets and seals.
Replace by-pass pipe.

Note:

The following work must be carried out only if a by-pass pipe without strainer was installed and metal particles have been detected in the removed by-pass pipe:

Clean inlet manifold.
Remove cylinder head => Page

Check cylinder head for damage and distortion.
Check pistons and cylinders for damage by metal particles.

Who makes these pages, and how

TorqFix was built by a mechanic — after a 2,700 km drive with five roadside repairs that no diagnostic tool could explain.

The figures on this page come from manufacturer workshop documentation and are shown as they are. The page is assembled automatically from that data — it is not written by an AI. The AI works in the chat, where it answers for your specific car. It writes nothing here.

Variants of the same model differ. Cross-check torque against the factory manual for your engine before final tightening.

Seen a figure that does not match your manual? Write to us — we correct it and note when. support@torqfix.com
