Installing bevel box, Passat 2011 ► with 2.0 l petrol engine — VW

🧭 Before you start

Fits: VW Passat B7 Variant (365, 2010–2014)

📋 Procedure

1. Install bevel box together with flange shaft on gearbox. Turn flange shaft in the process.
2. Screw in upper and lower securing bolts (arrows) for joining bevel box to gearbox. Specified torque: .
3. Secure flange shaft with new countersunk bolt. Specified torque
4. Bolt bevel box carrier to engine and bevel box, observing tightening sequence of bolts (1) and (2).
5. If removed beforehand, install heat shield above right drive shaft Running gear, axles, steering40Drive shaft; Removing and installing drive shaft.

6. Bolt right drive shaft to bevel box Running gear, axles, steering40Drive shaft; Removing and installing drive shaft.

9. If removed beforehand, install heat shield for flexible coupling.
10. Checking gear oil in bevel box .
