📋 Procedure

1. Insert injector to be checked into measuring beaker from injection rate testerV.A.G 1602.
2. Fold 2nd row seats forwards.
3. Separate carpet under seats and fold it back General body repairs, interior70Luggage compartment trims; Removing and installing luggage compartment floor.
4. Remove covers from fuel delivery unit.
5. First check that connector (1) is securely seated by pulling the connector without pressing the catch. The connector can cause a fault if it has not been fitted correctly.

6. Now pull off connector.
7. Check the contacts on the connector and on the fuel delivery unit for damage.
8. Connect test instrument adapter/DSO (5-pin)VAS 5565 to connector and fuel delivery unit.
9. Connect remote control for V.A.G 1348V.A.G 1348/3A to test instrument adapter/DSO (5-pin)VAS 5565 and to battery positive (+).
10. Connect a contact of injector to be tested to engine earth using auxiliary cables from auxiliary measuring setV.A.G 1594 C.
11. Connect second injector contact to remote controlV.A.G 1348/3 A using adapter cableV.A.G 1348/3 - 2.
12. Connect crocodile clip to battery (+).
13. Operate remote controlV.A.G 1348/3 A for 30 seconds.
14. Repeat check on other injectors. Use new measuring beakers.
15. After all injectors have been activated, place measuring beakers on a level surface and compare the quantity injected. Specification: 85...105 ml per injector
16. Renew defective injector . [Note: After replacing components of injection system, erase learnt values in engine control unit vehicle diagnosis tester "“Guided fault finding”".]
