Don't miss

• If the wear limit is reached on a used clutch, the plates must be replaced and the thickness for a new pressure plate must be calculated.
• Before installing the piston moisten sealing lips and sealing rings with ATF.
• If this is not the case, the sealing lips or sealing rings may catch or become damaged.
• The clutch piston must press the plates together.
• Allow compressed air to escape. The set of plates must return to its rest position.

📋 Procedure

1. Press down carefully on piston cap until the circlip can be installed.
2. Install outer plates (4) and inner plates (3) in clutch housing.
3. Place pressure plate (2) on the last inner plate.
4. Insert circlip (1) in the groove in the clutch housing.
5. If the wear limit is reached on a used clutch, the plates must be replaced and the thickness for a new pressure plate must be calculated.

6. If the wear limit is reached on a used clutch, the plates must be replaced and the thickness for a new pressure plate must be calculated.
7. Allocate plates and pressure plate according to gearbox code letters.
8. Before installing the piston moisten sealing lips and sealing rings with ATF.
9. Turn piston slightly when installing.
10. It must be possible to turn the piston by hand in both directions (arrows) after it has been installed into clutches or brakes. [Note: If this is not the case, the sealing lips or sealing rings may catch or become damaged.]
11. If this defect occurs, remove piston again.
12. Check sealing lips or sealing rings for damage, renew if necessary.
13. Install piston again and check.
14. Place clutch -K3- on gearbox housing cover and press downwards.
15. The clutch piston must press the plates together.
16. Allow compressed air to escape. The set of plates must return to its rest position.
