Don't miss
- Wear hand protection (rubber gloves).30 seconds are available for applying the adhesive to the nylon mesh fabric until pressing it onto the windscreen.
- Press base of mirror firmly (do not use force) against windscreen for 15 seconds.
- After 15 minutes the interior mirror can be fitted.
📋 Procedure
- Take mirror plate out from mirror base.
- Remove any old adhesive from mirror plate and inside of windscreen.
- Keep adhesion surface of mirror plate free of dirt and grease.
- Clean adhesion surface (1) on inside of windscreen with adhesive remover D 002 000 10 or cleaning solution D 009 401 04.
- Cut nylon mesh fabric (1) exactly to size of mirror base (2). [Note: Wear hand protection (rubber gloves).30 seconds are available for applying the adhesive to the nylon mesh fabric until pressing it onto the windscreen.]
- Apply adhesive evenly and smoothly to base of mirror.
- Fit nylon mesh fabric onto base of mirror.
- Apply further adhesive to nylon mesh fabric by dabbing with tube.
- Press base of mirror firmly (do not use force) against windscreen for 15 seconds.
- Remove excess adhesive with a cloth. [Note: After 15 minutes the interior mirror can be fitted.]
