• After tightening fitted bolts, height of window frame is already adjusted.However, if it is still necessary to adjust height of window frame, fitted bolt must be exchanged for standard bolt of same property class and length.
• Before installing window frame (1) in door (5), check for correct seating of seals (6) and (2).

🔩 Torque settings

Values can differ between engine variants — check the code stamped on your block.

📋 Procedure

1. Also screw in Torx bolt (8). [Note: After tightening fitted bolts, height of window frame is already adjusted.However, if it is still necessary to adjust height of window frame, fitted bolt must be exchanged for standard bolt of same property class and length.]
2. Install window regulator motor. [Note: Height of window frame is already correctly adjusted via fitted bolt.However, should adjustments be required after all, the fitted bolts can be replaced by bolts of the same size, length and strength, as offered in the Parts catalogue.]
3. Before installing window frame (1) in door (5), check for correct seating of seals (6) and (2).
4. If necessary, renew seals.
5. Detach protective paper from seals and press seals into place on window frame, as shown.

6. Insert window frame into door and screw in fitted bolts (4) and flange bolts (3).
7. To remove, unscrew bolts (2) and detach window regulator motor.
8. Installing window regulator motor .
9. Torx bolt T 45(1) to B-pillar (top), fitted from inside of vehicle: 32 Nm — 32 Nm (24 lb-ft)
10. Door hinge (top) (2)
11. Spacer sleeve (3)
12. Torx bolt T 45(4): 32 Nm — 32 Nm (24 lb-ft)
13. B-pillar trim removed
14. Torx bolts T 45(1) (32 Nm) secured to B-pillar from inside of vehicle — 32 Nm (24 lb-ft)
15. Door hinge (bottom) (2)
16. Cap (3)
17. Torx bolt T 45(4): 32 Nm — 32 Nm (24 lb-ft)
18. Fitted bolt T 45(5): 32 Nm — 32 Nm (24 lb-ft)
19. Re-grease lubrication points (arrows) at prescribed service intervals.
