Removing and installing TV tuner R78/digital TV tuner R171 — AUDI

🧭 Before you start

Fits: Audi Q7 (4L, 2005–2015)

📋 Procedure

1. When renewing control unit, select "„Replacement“" function for appropriate control unit in "„Guided Fault Finding“".
2. Switch off ignition and all electrical equipment and remove ignition key.
3. Remove luggage compartment side trim (right-side) General body repairs, interior70Trim; Removing and installing luggage compartment side trim.
4. Remove bracket for navigation system with CD drive control unit J401.
5. Unplug connector (1) on TV tuner R78(6).

6. Unplug MOST bus connector (2).
7. Fit protective cap for cable connectorVAS 6223/9(1) onto MOST bus connector (2).
8. Unplug aerial connectors (4) and (5).
9. Remove bolts (7).
10. Remove TV tuner R78(6).
11. Installation is performed in reverse sequence.
