- Remove nut (2).
- Detach washer (1) and remove.
- Release bonded joint.
- Remove securing strap recess from inside.
- Remove sealing and adhesive compound residue.
- Lightly sand down bonding surfaces and clean.
- Clean bonding surfaces.
- Apply sealing and adhesive compound.
- Fit securing strap recess from inside.
- Fit washer (1).
- Tighten nut (2).
