Removing and installing fuel tank flap — AUDI

🧭 Before you start

Fits: VW Transporter T5 (7H), VW Transporter T5 (7J), VW Transporter T6 (7E), VW Transporter T6 (7F)

Don't miss

• Ensure water drain hose is not pulled out of opening in underride guard.

📋 Procedure

1. Open tank flap.
2. Undo and remove bolts (2) and remove tank flap (1).
3. Undo bolt (5).
4. Twist cap of fuel tank off.
5. Lever fuel filler neck cup (6) out by inserting a small screwdriver in upper recess (arrow).

6. Pull water drain hose off fuel filler neck cup Engine20Fuel tank with attachments [Note: Ensure water drain hose is not pulled out of opening in underride guard.]
7. Press shaped cover (6) into opening.
8. Place tank flap (1) in position and tighten first the upper and then the lower bolt (2) hand-tight.
9. Adjust joints of tank flap (1), gaps 00.
10. Tighten bolts (2).
