Removing and installing drawer for control unit for front display and information control panel J523 — AUDI

🧭 Before you start

Fits: Audi Q7 (4L, 2005–2015)

📋 Procedure

1. Remove control unit for front display and information control panel J52391.
2. Remove multimedia system operating unit E38091.
3. Fold centre armrest (front) upwards.
4. Use a screwdriver to unclip trim (1) for support bracket (arrow).
5. Remove bolts (arrows).

6. Swivel drawer upwards (arrow), carefully guiding rack out of centre console.
7. Unclip trim from top of drawer (arrow), starting at rear edge, as shown in illustration.
8. Remove the two hinge pins for drawer (arrows).
9. Remove drawer for control unit for front display and information control panel J523.
10. Place arms (arrow) of spring in horizontal position.
11. Insert hinge pins (1) and (2) in openings on drawer and on top section of support bracket.
12. Clip trim for drawer onto drawer.
