📋 Procedure
- Pull off engine cover panel .
- Clean all fuel rail connections with engine cleaner or brake cleaner and dry.
- ⚠ Always read instructions on when working on injectors.Follow these instructions before starting work and while working on the fuel system. — Disconnect fuel return hoses from injectors; to do so, press down both tabs and at the same time pull centre piece up to release connection (arrow). - Connect adapter to return line connection of injector to be tested after adapter has been cleaned and blown out.
- Generate a vacuum of -500 mbar using the hand vacuum pumpVAS 6213.
- Renew faulty injectors .
- Check O-ring for fuel return line connection for damage and deformation. [Note: Lubricate all seals with engine oil or assembly oil before installing.]

- Check the entire fuel system for leaks.
- After completing the repair, road-test the vehicle. Accelerate with full throttle at least once. Then check the high-pressure section of the fuel system again for leaks. [Note: If there is any air left in the fuel system, the engine may switch to the backup mode ('emergency running' mode) during the road test. Switch off the engine and erase the event memory. Then continue the road test.]
- Install engine cover panel .

Who makes these pages, and how
TorqFix was built by a mechanic — after a 2,700 km drive with five roadside repairs that no diagnostic tool could explain.
The figures on this page come from manufacturer workshop documentation and are shown as they are. The page is assembled automatically from that data — it is not written by an AI. The AI works in the chat, where it answers for your specific car. It writes nothing here.
Variants of the same model differ. Cross-check torque against the factory manual for your engine before final tightening.
Seen a figure that does not match your manual? Write to us — we correct it and note when. support@torqfix.com
