Don't miss
- The turbocharger testerV.A.G 1397A is required to provide an independent figure for comparison. The turbocharger testerV.A.G 1397A must be set to measuring range I (absolute pressure). A barometer can be used instead.
- It must drop briefly to approx. 400 mbar and then assume the value of the altitude sender F96 (display zone 2).
📋 Procedure
- Connect fault readerV.A.G 1551 or vehicle system testerV.A.G 1552 and select engine electronics control unit with "“address word 01”". The ignition must be switched on for this purpose. (Connecting fault reader and selecting engine electronics control unit .)
- Press buttons 0 and 8 for function "“Read measured value block”" and confirm entry with Q button.
- Press buttons 0, 1 and 0 for "“Display group number 10”" and confirm entry with Q button.
- Compare display in display zone 2 (altitude sender F96), display zone 3 (intake manifold pressure sender G71) and display on turbocharger testerV.A.G 1397A with one another. Specification: [Note: The turbocharger testerV.A.G 1397A is required to provide an independent figure for comparison. Who makes these pages, and how
TorqFix was built by a mechanic — after a 2,700 km drive with five roadside repairs that no diagnostic tool could explain.
The figures on this page come from manufacturer workshop documentation and are shown as they are. The page is assembled automatically from that data — it is not written by an AI. The AI works in the chat, where it answers for your specific car. It writes nothing here.
Variants of the same model differ. Cross-check torque against the factory manual for your engine before final tightening.
Seen a figure that does not match your manual? Write to us — we correct it and note when. support@torqfix.com
