Removing and installing TV card reader R204, from week 45/2008 onwards — AUDI

🧭 Before you start

Fits: Audi A5 (8T, 2007–2016)

📋 Procedure

1. Switch off all electrical equipment.
2. Remove ignition key.
3. Open left-side luggage compartment storage area.
4. Remove SIM card from TV card reader R204.
5. Release and unplug connectors at digital sound package control unit J525.

6. Fit protective cap for cable connectorVAS 6223/9(1) onto MOST bus connector (2).
7. Unscrew nuts (1) and bolts (3) from bracket (2) and lift bracket with digital sound package control unit J525(2) into luggage compartment.
8. Release and unplug connector at TV card reader R204.
9. Unscrew bolts (3) at TV card reader R204(2) and detach it from bracket (1).
10. Install in reverse sequence of removal.
