📋 Procedure
- Remove small coolant pipe (left-side) 19.
- Unplug electrical connector (4) for fuel pressure sender G247.
- ⚠ The fuel system operates at extremely high pressure. This can cause injury. The pressure in the high-pressure section of the injection system must be reduced to a residual pressure prior to opening the system. — Reduce fuel pressure in high-pressure section of injection system .
- Disconnect fuel line (5).
- Remove bolts (arrows) and detach fuel rail from injectors and intake manifold.
- Unplug electrical connectors (1, 2, 3) at injectors.
- Press O-ring upwards by hand as illustrated and detach from injector.
- Screw puller T10055 onto puller T10133/15.
- Insert puller T10133/15 into groove on injector (arrow).
- Pull out injector by knocking carefully. [Note: Shown in illustration with alternator removed.] [Note: Renew the bolts tightened with specified tightening angle.Renew O-rings between injector and fuel rail.Renew spring elements for injectors.]
- Thoroughly clean apertures for injectors in cylinder head using nylon brush T10133/4.
- Check support ring and renew if damaged .
- Renew combustion chamber ring seal .
- Fit spring element (1), lubricate O-ring (3) with clean engine oil and fit against support ring (2). [Note: Do not lubricate combustion chamber ring seal (arrow) with engine oil.It should be possible to insert injector easily. If necessary wait until the combustion chamber ring seal has contracted sufficiently.Note correct installation position and ensure that injectors are properly seated in cylinder head.]
- Press injector by hand as far as it will go into aperture in cylinder head.
- Press fuel rail evenly onto injectors.
- Tighten securing bolts for fuel rail and union nut for fuel pipe hand-tight.
- Tighten securing bolts for fuel rail to final setting, working from inside to outside.
- Tighten union nut for fuel pipe.
- Install small coolant pipe (left-side) 19.
- Install dipstick guide tube 17.
- Fill up with coolant 19.

Who makes these pages, and how
TorqFix was built by a mechanic — after a 2,700 km drive with five roadside repairs that no diagnostic tool could explain.
The figures on this page come from manufacturer workshop documentation and are shown as they are. The page is assembled automatically from that data — it is not written by an AI. The AI works in the chat, where it answers for your specific car. It writes nothing here.
Variants of the same model differ. Cross-check torque against the factory manual for your engine before final tightening.
