- Allow ATF to drain off until it drips. [Note: Plug for ATF inspection hole must be screwed in again at the latest when ATF reaches temperature of 45 °C (countries with hot climates: 50 °C).If ATF temperature exceeds 45 °C too much fluid will escape as it expands when heated. In this case the quantity of fluid in the gearbox is NOT sufficient! If necessary, switch off engine and allow gearbox to cool down.If no ATF emerges from ATF inspection hole when ATF has reached 45 °C, top up again with 1 ltr. of ATF.]
- Cut open seal (arrow) for plug for ATF inspection hole and renew.
- Fit new seal on plug (arrow 1) for ATF inspection hole and tighten.
- Exit from function "“Measured values”" by pressing ← button.

Who makes these pages, and how
TorqFix was built by a mechanic — after a 2,700 km drive with five roadside repairs that no diagnostic tool could explain.
The figures on this page come from manufacturer workshop documentation and are shown as they are. The page is assembled automatically from that data — it is not written by an AI. The AI works in the chat, where it answers for your specific car. It writes nothing here.
Variants of the same model differ. Cross-check torque against the factory manual for your engine before final tightening.
