  1. Set the air outflow direction to "“dash panel vents”" by way of the rotary air distribution control.
  2. Set speed "“4”" at the fresh air blower rotary control.
  3. Use a thermometer to measure the temperature of the air emerging from the left and right dash panel vents.
  4. Compare your measured values to the measured value displayed (for the evaporator output temperature sender G263). Your measured values must not be lower than and after 5 minutes max. 3 °C higher than the value for the evaporator output temperature sender G263.
  5. Set the highest possible temperature (rotary temperature control on "“warm”" stop).
  6. Use a thermometer to measure the temperature of the air emerging from the left and right dash panel vents.
  7. Set the lowest possible temperature (rotary temperature control on "“cold”" stop).
  8. Use a thermometer to measure the temperature of the air emerging from the left and right dash panel vents.
  9. Bleeding of coolant circuit Engine, mechanics19
  10. Incorporation of heat exchanger for heater in air conditioning unit into coolant circuit Engine, mechanics; Rep. Gr. 19
  11. Actuation and operation of temperature flap control motor V68"Guided fault-finding" function of vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051
  12. Foam seal at heat exchanger for heater of air conditioning unit
  13. Operation of the temperature flaps in the air distribution housing .

Who makes these pages, and how

TorqFix was built by a mechanic — after a 2,700 km drive with five roadside repairs that no diagnostic tool could explain.

The figures on this page come from manufacturer workshop documentation and are shown as they are. The page is assembled automatically from that data — it is not written by an AI. The AI works in the chat, where it answers for your specific car. It writes nothing here.

Variants of the same model differ. Cross-check torque against the factory manual for your engine before final tightening.

Seen a figure that does not match your manual? Write to us — we correct it and note when. support@torqfix.com
