P2445 — Secondary air pump not running on bank 1
The secondary air injection pump on the first bank of the engine is not turning on when it should. This system helps reduce emissions by injecting air into the exhaust to burn off excess pollutants during cold starts. The code appears because the engine control module detects the pump is stuck off or not operating properly.
